I Met Rosanna Pansino from Nerdy Nummies!

A few days ago I met Rosanna Pansino (also known as Ro) from Nerdy Nummies! Ro's Channel, Nerdy Nummies has almost nine million followers on Youtube. Nerdy Nummies is one of the most popular baking YouTube Channels. New videos are posted on Tuesdays and Saturdays every week.
Ro's channel has lots of fun baking recipes and ideas. All of her creations are inspired from current pop culture, such as emojis and Disney. Her videos offer clear instructions with simple methods so that anyone can learn and bake from her videos.
Recently Ro joined with Wilton for her own baking line. The items in the line are super cute and smart. For example, her rolling pin comes with silicon guides that go on the rolling pin. When rolling out cookie dough, the guides help the dough not be uneven or too thin or thick. So far the only part of her collection I own are the three candy molds.
I met Ro at a store location that was part of her tour. The location was only about thirty minutes from my house. I got to the store at 6:45 am in the morning, with knowledge that the store opened at 7:00 am. There was only one family in the line in front of me! A few minutes later we found out that we would not be let into the store until 8:00 am. By 7:15 am there were about twenty to maybe thirty people on line. By 8:00 am there was still about the same amount of people. Waiting on line ended up being really fun since I got to talk to other fans of Ro.
Once we were let into the store, we were all escorted to the video game section which was walled off with her products in the middle of the section. We then waited a few more minutes and were let into the area to buy the products. We were limited to two items a person, so I picked out two candy molds (I got the third one at a different store a few days later). Then I bought them and got my wristband to come back later. Ro was not coming until 1:00 pm.
I had my baking class from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. (That post is coming later this week!) So I did not put on my wristband until after class.
I got back to the store by 2:00, which was an hour after Ro had gotten there. She was at the location from 1:00 to 4:00. I first saw her tour bus and I ran through the parking lot. I was so excited! I took photos of it (see above) as I was running. The tour bus was amazing to see in person, it was so large and colorful.

Then I ran into the store, back to the video game section and got on line. There was no one in front of me, so I showed them my bracelet and they had me talk to two people helping with the tour until I got to Ro.
Ro is the nicest person in the whole world and she is so beautiful. I got kind of nervous when I saw her at first, but I was also so excited that I just could not stop smiling.
First she hugged me and then we took photos together and had about a five minute conversation. I told her about school, my sister and my food allergies.
It was so nice to talk to her and I really appreciated how real she was. It was like having a conversation with a friend. She is so amazing.
On her YouTube Channel and website there are not many recipes with nuts in them and she told me she tries to avoid nuts. This made me really happy.

Meeting Ro was five of the most amazing minutes of my life. I am so thankful to have these photos and to have had such a nice conversation with her. Ro and Nerdy Nummies is a real inspirational force in the industry online. I am so grateful to have met Ro.
In the coming months I plan on purchasing her cookbook, which came out a few years ago, and some more products from her baking line with Wilton. To purchase her cookbook click here. I also hope to try out of some Ro's creations and recipes from her YouTube videos. I did try out a few things using the three candy molds. A post about that will be coming soon!
It was such an honor to have met Ro. She is such a wonderful person and I encourage you to look at her website and YouTube Channel and learn how to bake some fun and yummy treats.
